From Def Jam to Yoga and back.

How a leadig figure in the history of rap music and creative entrepreneur has not only discovered yoga as a source to find peace of mind but also found his way of doing busines around yoga.

One might say business and yoga, thats not the idea of yoga, but what if this business creates value that brings yoga forward and shares it with people like snoop dogg who would have not gotten into it if it would have not been presented to them in a language they’d understand.

Also here again I feel so in sync with the idea that yoga can be for anyone and that you don’t have to choose between loving a culture like hip hip and a spiritual practice like yoga. It can corelate and fit under one self image, personality or even a business model.

Very inspiring article and short documentation that makes the heart of a hip hop lover and yogi jump higher.

Yoga, music, love and good food. More love than reason, more "lets see what happens" than the perfect annual plan. Listening to that space you can call guts feeling, heart space or whatever you want to call it, and combining it with a healthy portion of balls to challenge established views and cut through the bullshit. I have a background in nightlife, where I ran an event agency and a nightclub. Later a quick and intense stroll into advertising brought me to fall in love with Amsterdam. I love good wine, can eat till I drop and love having people and good music around me. That's me. Or at least how I would summarize what's on my mind mostly :)
