On this part of the page I will share my view on yoga and different studios in Amsterdam, no bullshit, straightforward and as honest and real as possible.

So this is it, ages of thinking and contemplating on how to approach this yoga thing towards for the general public brought me here. A BLOG…I thought the whole blog thing had experienced an overkill and the cool kids had migrated to Snapchat or Instagram and don’t read anyways.

Maybe that’s just the reason why I’m picking a blog. But enough of the philosophizing let me tell you a bit about what to expect and what the idea behind all this is.

There are tons of Yoga joints in town and no proper overview of what to really expect. Nothing that goes deeper than a top 10 or beautiful content by the different studios.

Writing honest reviews and telling you about my path towards yoga is what I want to do here. I have been practicing yoga in Amsterdam for 3 years constantly now. With the average of 3 sessions per week I spent about 650 hours on Amsterdam’s yoga mats. And it has been a beautiful journey which I now want to share with you, reviewing different studios, classes and talking to and about yogis from all over the world.

Besides that, I also want to take you along on my path of quitting my job and finding my way into the yoga community and into a more “fulfilled life”.

And eventually, here you will see what I do to make a living with yoga.

Yoga, music, love and good food. More love than reason, more "lets see what happens" than the perfect annual plan. Listening to that space you can call guts feeling, heart space or whatever you want to call it, and combining it with a healthy portion of balls to challenge established views and cut through the bullshit. I have a background in nightlife, where I ran an event agency and a nightclub. Later a quick and intense stroll into advertising brought me to fall in love with Amsterdam. I love good wine, can eat till I drop and love having people and good music around me. That's me. Or at least how I would summarize what's on my mind mostly :)
